Time for some Beatles! My last several nights’ songs have … er, shall we say not played well with our friend Clive … and thus I promised him something he’d like today. Now, I know that Clive is a Beatles’ fan, and this is a Beatles’ song, but I’m still hedgine my bets, for this isn’t typical Beatles’ fare!


From when I last played this in February 2020 …

हम घर में जो कपड़े पहनते हैं,
उन्हीं का सबसे ज्यादा इस्तेमाल करते हैं,
लेकिन बड़ी लापरवाही से
रख देते हैं इधर उधर,
और जो कपड़े हम कभी-कभी ही
चुनिंदा मौकों पर ही पहनते हैं,
उनका इस्तेमाल कम से कम करते हैं,
लेकिन उन्हें अलमारी में
सबसे सुरक्षित स्थान पर रखते हैं,
कई बार हम गलती कर बैठते हैं
इंसानों को भी कपड़े समझने की…

The clothes we wear at home,
we use them the most,
but keep them anywhere
very carelessly.
and the clothes that we wear
only on select occasions,
we use the least,
but keep them in the safest place
in the wardrobe,
many times we make the mistake
of treating humans like clothes…
