Is It Ok to Take a Long Career Break?


When the COVID-19 pandemic shook the world as we knew it, employees realised how important it is to prioritise other parts of life instead of focusing entirely on work. Some are now looking for jobs that will allow them to gain flexibility with their work schedule and get benefits they were not offered before, like health insurance, vacation leaves and pay raises. Others are even taking extended breaks from work because they want to recuperate and do their other commitments they were unable to do before. There are a few who take breaks even without a genuine need to do it.
