What made you smile on Sunday?

1. Nonworking day.

2. Spiritual day!

3. Relaxed day at your favorite place!

4. Your favorite team made it by playing under pressure.

5. Watched your favorite movies.

6. Spent time talking to your friends and family members.

With stroke of his pen, Gov. Mike DeWine defines natural gas as green energy (Me: Ohio Governor sell out state future for near term GOP profit and will increase pollution in the state)

Gov. Mike DeWine signed legislation that broadly expands the ability to drill for oil and gas in state parks and also legally redefines natural gas as a source of “green energy.”

As anti-LGBTQ2 hate grows in Canada, advocates say it’s ‘never been as scary’ – National | Globalnews.ca (Me: Canadian and US fascists target Gays and Trans-people for fear and bigotry to get supporters)

“We are seeing some really great changes in terms of acceptance in society, but most queer and trans people I know are still worried about their safety,” said Fae Johnstone, executive director of Wisdom2Action, in an interview with Mercedes Stephenson on The West Block Sunday.

“I’ve been doing this work as a queer and trans advocate for a decade. It’s never been as scary out there as it is right now.”

We Set the Bar for Others

NANMYKEL.COM

GRIM. SHAME. ALMOST UNFORGIVEABLE…The United States has set the bar for the world to follow? It’s things like this that almost makes me hate:

Per the New York Times, Bolsonara’s followers in Brzail are rioting, claiming that their election was rigged. Sound familiar? Bad continuing bad, and spreading. Many Americans are still not contrite that we’re responsible for having crafted a lethal pandemic of lying.

Violência Doméstica

Pensamentos.me/VEM comigo!

A sociedade desaprova a violência doméstica.

Bem, pelo menos grande parte das pessoas não tolera esse tipo de crueldade cometida contra a mulher. Então vamos ajudar a denunciar esses casos?

Libraries, Tiny Homes, and Land? —ShiraDest Project Do Better

collaboration with learners

A tiny house, much like a 3-d printed house, can save costs, but still needs the land and community infrastructure…

During last year’s holiday of Sukkot, aka the Feast of Tabernacles, or Booths, the verse proclaiming this holiday as one of inclusion for all nations, and that inclusion which happened 1000 years ago in Islamic Spain, seems especially important to remember, that day. Remember, if we did it before, we can do it again! We[…][…]

Why do I write? Here are four reasons…

Petchary's Blog

The “why?” question is always the tricky one. This was the Bloganuary prompt though, and I will do my best with it.

Reason Number One: As most writers will say, I write mostly for myself. As I noted in my previous Bloganuary post, writing brings me joy. I am not always happy with my writing, but when it is finished, there is a feeling of accomplishment. Whether anyone reads it or not is quite immaterial, I tell myself. This is actually how I started to write my blog – all of twelve years ago. I wanted to practice my writing, and I wanted to see how it looked in a blog format. It was a terrible struggle at first, as WordPress was certainly not as user-friendly as it is now! But once I got started and had things in place, I became almost spiritually attached to my keyboard and…
