There’s still one way

You could abandon your dreams

Allow the tides of the Rain

Allow The World of Leaves

The poem the birth of Humanity

There won’t be a need for you to sleep

In the hills and valleys of redemption

On the pages of books

Pondering your midlife crisis

You shall walk alone in the dark

Tripping on your own thoughts

To after rise

Beneath the Sunlight

You will set free the truth

Allowing the vines of others to latch on

The souls you will find

Residing in the Clouds and the Leaves

Just you alone step into

The vacant space of the future

Allow it to wrap you up like a corset

Take the air out of your lungs
