Unfortunately for us, the more our technologies and activities continue to disrupt the Earth’s natural balance, the more likely Mother Nature will overturn any imbalance by turning against mankind,in order to bring back BALANCE. She may do it (as she did), even if life become inhospitable for us….Our life is too precious to be left at the mercy and in the shaky hands of man…usually guided by selfishness and personal gain.

I agree… humans have caused so much damage that natural systems’ responses to rebalance systems is more drastic than most people had expected. Our need for dramatic action is high… I hope we can respond well and fewer die needlessly.
