you would write
write with
the making of a world on fire
a burden upon poetry
the burgeoning glory in your hand
the words swelling-up on command

encryptions carved in rocks
the complicated vows of a nation

the words polished
with your sweat
your pain

write everything that is within your grasp 
so much so that 
the hairs on your skin would curl up 
with the thoughts in your head

what is impossible
drill a hole 
drill a hole through this Godforsaken life…
