A sketchy self-portrait
 This is my life: not lovely but has some meaning. This is my mother: also the mother of the sea. This is my father: dead, right by his side was his gun, the barrel still full. This is my other brother: an impotent and loud man. This is my older sister: half of her husband, and half of her underwear. This is my younger sibling: crushed by history and money. This is my wife: my only friend. This is my child: from the darkness of the womb the child had brought light into the world. This is my vernacular: half underwater, half on land.
