like a pirated copy

you’ll find it at your step in the morning

together with a bunch of slapped on photographs

in sentences with forgotten full stops

the scent of the soil

the verses dance beneath the pads of your feet

the vibration of musical notes, the formation of an exuberant rhyme

and the words

the simplicity of empty spaces

allowing the wind to fall through

the rumblings of a jet

a flame in tatters beneath an abandoned sky

the poem are pieces of an obsession
