tumbleweeds thread the head of a pin

while the size of our love’s always been
reminiscent of the dreams laden in your hands

like the flavor of morning dew
know that I’ve always seen you

in my mind

a place in my heart you always reside

while lavender fills the lines
and the love within me shines

together with the sun, the moon, and the stars
awaiting the next time

we hold hands under a canopy of two hearts
forevermore entwined
