ACLU sues to block Texas from investigating parents of transgender children – UPI.com

The American Civil Liberties Unit filed suit Tuesday seeking to block Texas from investigating the parents of transgender children under a recent directive by Gov. Greg Abbott.

The national nonprofit was joined by its Texas branch and Lambda Legal, a legal defense and education fund focused on LGBTQ communities in the lawsuit, which seeks to block the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services from launching investigations into parents who work with medical professionals to provide their children with gender-affirming care.

COVID-19 vaccine efficacy or effectiveness against severe disease remained high, although it did decrease somewhat by 6 months after full vaccination. By contrast, vaccine efficacy or effectiveness against infection and symptomatic disease decreased approximately 20–30 percentage points by 6 months. The decrease in vaccine efficacy or effectiveness is likely caused by, at least in part, waning immunity, although an effect of bias cannot be ruled out. Evaluating vaccine efficacy or effectiveness beyond 6 months will be crucial for updating COVID-19 vaccine policy. Men Ukrainas befolkning behöver nu hjälp! innan ett helt folk och land blir utplånat, kriget har redan börjat! Vakna nu innan det är försent.

Europa är redan indraget i kriget! att sätta ned foten nu och visa Ryssland att Europa inte tolerar att detta oförlåtliga övergrepp på ett självständigt och fungerande land.

Vad som händer om krigförande trupper som hjälp till Ukrainas arme vet nog ingen! Men att låta ett land få ta hela Europas börda på axlarna själv! är det verkligen rätt!.

Europas ledare och länder ta nu ett rejält grepp om händelserna, Tänk om ett främmande land stod på tröskeln till ditt land! och trampade över den och bombade sig fram!

Att hjälpa och skydda Ukraina aktivt i landet är också att skydda och hjälpa Europa…

Čaj se priprema na sljedeći način: zagrijati 400 ml vode do ključanja, smanjiti temperaturu i dodati dvije kafene kašičice svježe opranog i isjeckanog korijena maslačka. Poklopiti i ostaviti da lagano vri dva minuta. Skinuti i dodati dvije kafene kašičice svježe isjeckanog lista maslačka i ostaviti da stoji pola sata. Procijediti i popiti u malim gutljajima. Terapija traje mjesec dana.

Apple to increase Covid testing requirements for vaccinated retail staff | AppleInsider

Apple plans to start requiring its retail staff to test for Covid-19 twice a week, no matter their vaccination status, although the company is also easing its test verification policies. The plan was announced in a memo to U.S. Apple Store employees obtained by Bloomberg on Tuesday. In addition to the new minimum testing requirements, however, Apple is now allowing staff to independently verify their results. “Based on what we’ve learned from our testing pilot, everyone will now be required to self-test twice per week, regardless of vaccination status,” Apple told employees. “In addition, if you were submitting your test results for verification, you’re no longer required to do so.”

Here is where I am in my reflections on previous year’s mental health states, and where to go this coming year, given the temptation to give up and find the nearest convent that will have me:  I will continue to look for meaning, rather than listening to what others insist ought to make me happy.  Looking back at previous years, I can at least see progress.
