Bill Owens is board chairman for Russian bank targeted by Biden

Former Colorado Gov. Bill Owens is the chairman of the supervisory board of the Credit Bank of Moscow, which has been barred by the Biden administration from issuing shares and debt in the U.S. after the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

The Credit Bank of Moscow is owned by investors and not the state. It is one of Russia’s largest banks.

Owens, a Republican, told The Colorado Sun that the bank has no ties to the Russian government and that it’s listed on the Russian stock exchange. He said that he’s not aware of the Credit Bank of Moscow planning to issue shares or debt in the U.S. regardless of the limitations, and he said he has no shares or debt in the bank.

GOP candidate says “back the blue” — but campaigns with felon who plotted to kill an FBI informant | Salon.com

Kari Lake, a former local television reporter with no political experience, praises cops, touts “back the blue” on her campaign website and vows to increase resources to tackle violent criminals. She’s also hit the campaign trail multiple times with a convicted felon who was accused by the Justice Department (DOJ) of trying to kill an FBI informant.

According to a finance report recently amended by Lake’s campaign, the former TV news anchor who has repeatedly echoed Trump’s election lies paid $2,000 to Kenneth Ulibarri, a repeat violent offender who pleaded guilty after the DOJ accused him of trying to hire a hitman to kill an FBI informant and an unrelated state charge of battery on a peace officer.
