He ends his article thusly:

Have we reached a point of no return? Have we reached a time when the curtain can no longer be lifted and the little man, the real Oz, be revealed?

The answer to these questions will come from those shouting the loudest about their loss of freedom. Only when they realize that they are being used can we return to the real work of fixing our broken nation. Will that moment come in 2022? I hope so, but maybe I am just hoping that there are enough Dorothys coming forward to tear the curtains away so we can return to a saner reality.

Medicine that fights alcoholism may be an option for the treatment of sepsis – Mágica Mistura 能

The work was conducted at the Research Center for Inflammatory Diseases (CRID) – a Research, Innovation and Dissemination Center (CEPID) of Fapesp based at Ribeirão Preto Medical School (FMRP-USP).

“We already know that the drug is safe, as it has been in use since the 1950s, and we are proposing its repositioning for the treatment of sepsis. We saw that it works on tests in vitro and in animals. A clinical trial is now needed to assess its effectiveness in septic patients, ”says Camila Meirelles Silva, postdoctoral fellow at CRID and the first author of the article.

Sfântul Apostol Pavel a poposit aici de două ori între anii 50-57,

în cea de a doua și a treia misiune de creștinare a populației din Asia Mică și este menționat faptul că s-a îmbarcat chiar din acest port, cel mai notabil din vestul Asiei Mici, spre Macedonia, cu destinație precisă Kavala.
