CATAPULT Arts Grant for Caribbean creatives is up for a second year

The CATAPULT Arts Grant is back for a second year with small grants for hundreds of creatives across the Caribbean. It is a partnership of Kingston Creative and The American Friends of Jamaica, with partial funding support from the Open Society Foundations. This grant also enrolls 300 artists into an existing Kingston Creative programme, funded by IDB Lab for three years, which seeks to build ecommerce platforms and to build and operate a database.

In 2020, 1235 creatives in 26 Caribbean countries received training in digital skills. This year, the grants will focus on building a Caribbean creative database.
