When I was a kid AKA growing so fast and quick physically and emotionally, I used to put noodles in soups. Just a bowl of soup as the main dish never happened in my cuisine but always considered as a side dish, I needed something filling to satisfy my always-chirping-for-more-food stomach. Can anyone understand me?
As I got older, I learned soup as the main dish is actually comforting and filling with some side of bread, and adding some noodles less likely happened. But, sometimes my mind is in the middle of a Throwback Thursday mood, so yesterday I added some noodles in one of my favorite spicy soups: Hot and Sour Soup!
I actually got to know hot and sour soup after I turned to the age of legally drinkable in the US, but its flavorful taste of comforting food made me crave for them.
