Happy National Brownie Day! Did you know, today’s the day to enjoy another “mom’s baking” goodies with sweet memories!
Well well well, but to me, originally from Japan, I have never seen my mom making brownies nor has she tried it ever. But whenever I’m baking brownies, my dinner buddy always pokes head in the kitchen and says “Ah, my mom used to bake brownies a lot.”
He sometimes asks me to bake brownies, and this was the time that they are his current cravings.
I wanted to make a different flavor this time, and found a packet of Thai tea in the back of my pantry. Yes, I remember I was hiding it, and since I already got real Thai tea leaves from Asian grocery, I don’t have to be so stingy on them!
