    1. At least the Americans didn’t kill these Japanese. In the then Czechoslovakia they killed all the citizens with German origin that they could lay their hands on, men, women and children. People who had lived there for generations.

    2. Awful. Had family friends growing up, who let Japanese friends live in a cabin on their property for the duration of the war – few did that – imprisoning them was not justified… but better than outright killing them – will never know how many suicides because of it.
