Many people have heard about the eruption of Krakatoa, a volcanic event occurring from August 26thto October 21st1883, sadly killing over 36,000 people. Now Krakatoa was actually the name of an island which was part of an archipelago in the Sunda Strait between Sumatra and Java, the other islands are Verlaten and Lang. But on Krakatoa, there were three active volcanoes Perboewatan, Danan, and Rakata…

The first fact considered with such an event is the immense loss of life and livelihoods, and with this event, preceding the eruptions there were also two great tsunamis devastating towns… then we can think about the lost of property, vegetation, and any other ordinary aspects of everyday existence imaginable.
