Please tell me the story.
Don't do like this, Salome!
I'm very intrigued.
In anticipation, fatigued.
I don't know what it's about.
Whether it's fantasy or something devout.
But I really want to know.
So let your words flow.
I don't want to wait.
More anxious than a blind date.
Just spill the beans.
Don't be so mean.
Since the day you gave me a teaser.
I've been more excited than a Golden Retriever.
Please find a way to narrate.
I know with me, it will resonate.
My dear Sammy,
Don't you want to see me happy?
I really want to hear that story!
Even though I'm now in the 'pestering' category.
Me wants story!
Tell me story!
Please tell na, Salome!
Or I'll trouble you like this only!
In all honesty, I had a brief hour or so this evening when I decided I would stop my music posts. A couple of friends have been hyper-critical because I play only the music that I like and am not open to their suggestions, most of which I find I simply don’t enjoy. I have said since my very first music post that I’m open to suggestion, but if I don’t like a song you suggest, I won’t play it here. Music, like many other things, is a matter of personal preference. What makes me smile might make somebody else tune out, and that’s okay! I don’t eat octopus, but I have a friend who loves it. And that’s okay too. So, ultimately I am not stopping my music posts and I will always welcome ideas and suggestions — just understand that if I don’t like them, I won’t play…
Video footage of a police officer kneeling on the neck of a Romany man who later died in an ambulance is being shared among Czechs on social media, leading many to compare his treatment to that of George Floyd.
The video, shot on 19 June, shows three police officers in Teplice, a town in the north of the Czech Republic, detaining a Romany man on the floor. As one officer holds the man’s feet, another appears to kneel on his neck, and a third tries to handcuff him. Voices of several Roma bystanders are heard in the video.
Pakistan PM Imran Khan is again in talks on social media and this time for an unthoughtful comment. Imran Khan’s comment in an interview shows how narrow his mindset is towards women.
The comment made by Imran Khan has caused a massive outrage on social media, with opposition leaders and journalists expressing anger and disgust against the misogynistic ideology.

Pakistan Prime minister Imran Khan instead of accepting the poor law enforcement of the country blamed a rise in the cases of sexual violence on how women dress in the country. “If a woman is wearing very few clothes, it will have an impact on the men, unless they are robots. It’s just common sense,”. These comments were made by Imran Khan in an interview with ‘Axios on HBO’. “This is cultural imperialism. Whatever is acceptable in our culture, must be acceptable everywhere else. It’s not,” he added.
I think most people see bipartisanship as the ideal way to get things done in our lawmaking branch of government known as Congress. We’d all like to think that both Democrats and Republicans are acting in the best interest of the people of this nation and that they are taking their oaths to the Constitution seriously. After all, we elected them and we pay their salaries, benefits and perks from our hard-earned money! I, for one, have long felt that moderation and bipartisanship, working across the aisle, meeting halfway in the spirit of compromise was the best way to ensure that we are all served well by our elected officials. Today, however, I honestly believe that bipartisanship is a mirage, that true cooperation between the two parties is dead, a relic of the past. Whether or not it will ever be resurrected remains to be seen at some point in…
In the dream, I was queued with my friends waiting to be seated at a formal dinner that was being hosted by a royal person of ambiguous status. Our group was soon seated at a very elegant table set with exquisite china and silver flatware. I was assigned a place beside Gary, a friend’s son.
A uniformed servant placed the first course at everyone’s places at the table. There was some type of mousse that was presented in a crystal comport and adorned with spicy sprinkles. While I tried to decide which part of the mousse to dig into first, Gary had already devoured half of his portion. He then noticed that I had not yet begun to eat. Gary told me to just dig in anywhere and enjoy the fruity goodness. The moment my fork touched the mousse, I awakened from the dream with a wide smile on my…
The Grand Canyon is amazing. Vivaldi translation of introduction: Observing the abyss of the Grand Canyon for the first time, naturalist Donald Carlos Pitty said that he was aware of the presence of God’s will in this place, and the writer J. B. Priestley described the meandering of the Colorado River between huge rock walls as the “Terrible Court of Nature.” Both of these observations – used by lay people to explain the majesty of the Grand Canyon – date back to the end of the 19th century, when America was just discovering its natural beauty. Until then, the expanses of the Wild West were preferred as a territory to be conquered and whose natural resources to be depleted. Whites have known about the Grand Canyon for centuries, since 1540 when it was discovered by Spanish Captain Garcia Lopez de Cardenas, when he was sent north by the Viceroy of Mexico to find Chibola, one of the seven legendary golden cities. But with such an ambitious order, he could only be disappointed when he arrived in the Grand Canyon.
Vivaldi translation of introduction: A month of violent attacks by miners against Yanomami communities without protection from the Brazilian state! – «If the prospectors dig everywhere, the rivers of the forest will be full of mud, engine oil and garbage. They wash their gold dust in the streams, mixing it with mercury – dirty and dangerous … »
