I have a profound appreciation of those who maintain their inner child/free-spiritedness while embracing the vicissitudes of the seasons in one’s life along with its heavy responsibilities. To me, it shows a high emotional quotient, a common denominator for a balanced individual.

My inner child hasn’t died off and it will always be there, guiding me in a way so that I do not lose sight of who I am and the dear things that matter to me regardless of the changes we have to face in this volatile journey called “life”. A distinct rawness, a fragility of which I deem everyone to be sensitive to a certain level because it is almost intrinsic to a person’s identity, just like our very own names.
