A: It’s the physical practice of a posture that helps both strengthening and stretching muscles. After a good solid asana, you are bound to feel refresh. Asana is the third limb from the eight limbs of yoga sutras.
Q: How to do Vrikshasana ?
A: Vrikshasana ( Tree Pose) is a balancing pose.
- Stand straight.
- Lift your one leg and put the feet on the inner thigh of the other leg.
- Fold your hand to Namaste near your heart
- Take your Namaste above your head.
- Be there for 15 to 30 seconds or based on your capacity.
- Get your hand down
- Get your leg down.
Caution: Please don’t put your leg on the knee of another leg. One this is wrong and second, it will hurt your knee.
