Beyond The Lines

“I refuse to accept the view that mankind is so tragically bound to the starless midnight of racism and war that the bright daybreak of peace and brotherhood can never become a reality… I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word”. – Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

“I was mad, like blood boiling through my veins now, watching my community get slaughtered,” says Nguyen, a civil rights activist who was nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize for her work in advocating for sexual assault survivors. “How many more people need to be killed in order for the news outlets, especially mainstream ones, to think that we’re worthy of a story?”

Inhale Peace; Exhale Love. Joy will Follow! - RUELHA

This is how my mum has been preparing dal since time immemorial and after savouring and experimenting with hundreds of ways, this is by far the best, most efficient, easy, simple and most importantly, ‘tastiest’…
