A week later, she went through the small bag she had taken to the hospital so long ago. In the bottom, tangled with a bracelet, a gold chain, earrings and two rings, she found the white rosary.

I don’t know how many who survived and the families of those who did not, will deal with the fees charged. I had a friend, some years ago, who had to switch his living to below the table because of a $500,000 bill for a triple by-pass – any above board income would have been seized.
That’s absurd. The Covid relief act this week caps medical liability at 8.5% of income. Like to see that made permanent.
8.5% still high but better than what people have had to deal with for years and years.
Absolutely, I’ve got clients who are struggling. The additional relief will be huge.
