Israel plans to begin slowly easing its third lockdown, as officials were hoping its vaccination campaign would contain the outbreak of #Covid-19 variants. Although #Israel has one of the fastest #vaccination rates in the world, the rage of new cases still remain high, greatly due to the new and more contagious variants: the numbers show now a number of infections and of hospitalizations just as high as when Israel’s third lockdown began, as FRANCE 24’s Irris Makler reports from #Jerusalem.
