The internet protocol address it used is owned by DDos-Guard, which is controlled by two Russian men and provides services including protection from distributed denial of service attacks, infrastructure expert Ronald Guilmette told Reuters.
DDoS-Guard has worked with other racist, rightist and conspiracy sites that have been used by mass murderers to share messages, including 8kun. It has also supported Russian government sites.
DDoS-Guard’s website lists an address in Scotland under the company name Cognitive Cloud LP, but that is owned by two men in Rostov-on-Don, Russia, Guilmette said.
The FBI on Monday searched the Huntington Beach apartment of a well-known far-right activist who initially claimed in a video that he participated in the siege earlier this month at the U.S. Capitol, then backtracked as he became the target of death threats.
Laura Eimiller, a spokeswoman for the FBI’s Los Angeles Field Office, confirmed that an FBI SWAT team executed a search warrant around 10 a.m. at the residence of 32-year-old Kristopher Drew Martin on Viewpoint Lane.
One person, whose identity was not released, was at the residence and was cooperative, she said. Undisclosed evidence was seized but no arrests were made.
Photos circulating Monday on social media purported to show members of the SWAT team wearing camouflage and getting out of a pickup truck at the location.
What do you do for your brain?

The new mutation is different from the highly contagious strain first discovered in the United Kingdom, which also has public health officials worried. The U.S. federal government has warned that the British variant could become the dominant strain in this country by March. If that happens, hospitals could be overwhelmed by a rapid rise in new COVID-19 cases. Michels said she’s worried. “We’re racing against the clock. Who is going to win, us or the virus?”
SOUTH PASADENA — Funeral services were pending Monday for a 30-year-old police assistant with the South Pasadena Police Department who died of COVID-19, just days before starting work as a dispatcher.
“It is with profound sadness and heartbreak that we announce the passing of Police Assistant Bayron Salguero, who lost his life on January 16 due to complications related to COVID-19,” according to a Facebook post from the department. “Bayron had just completed the dispatch training program and was due to start his new shift next week.
“Though he was with us for only a short time, he quickly became a part of our family,” according to the agency. “He had a great attitude and was admired by everyone for his work ethic and willingness to learn. We will miss you, Bayron, Rest In Peace.”
On a GoFundMe page established on behalf of the family, Salguero’s future brother-in-law called him “the kindest person you could have ever imagined being around.”
“His ability to make people smile and bring joy to every person he met is the type of quality that is rare and pure,” Javier Alvarado wrote on the page. “He was the type of person that would do anything to brighten up anyone’s day and do his best to help anyone in need.”
Alvarado said Salguero was diagnosed with Systemic Capillary Leak Syndrome in 2015, and the condition “almost took his legs.” Salguero overcame the illness, but it left him at high risk of severe illness from COVID-19.

According to his sister, Neomie, he was seized when he went to an immigration office on Federal Plaza in Manhattan on 11 January, for what he thought would be a routine visit. “He went there for the appointment and while he was there, he was detained, and he was informed that they have documents stating that he’s a Haitian citizen,” Neomie Pierrilus said. She said their parents were Haitian but never applied for Paul’s Haitian citizenship. “We don’t really understand how documents were obtained to say that my brother was a citizen of Haiti. “My brother has never even been to Haiti,” she said. “He has the bare minimum of the language, he doesn’t know the culture, he doesn’t know anyone there. So my brother cannot go there.” Neomie Pierrilus supplied copies of emails last year from the then Haitian ambassador, Hervé Denis, confirming that her brother was not a Haitian citizen. Nor did Paul’s birth in Saint Martin confer French citizenship, making him stateless. Guerline Jozef, head of the community group Haitian Bridge Alliance, said that the intense level of political violence in Haiti represented a serious threat to Pierrilus’s life. “Sending him to Haiti, first of all, is no

Arnett, who went by the nickname “Jaguar Jon”, was the second overall pick by the Los Angeles Rams in the 1957 NFL Draft, going four spots ahead of running back Jim Brown.
He made the Pro Bowl in each of his first five seasons in the NFL, with his best season coming in 1958 when he reached career highs in rushing yards (683), receiving yards (494) and touchdowns (seven). He earned All-Pro honors for that 1958 season as he led the NFL in punt return yardage.
He still holds the Rams’ record for longest kickoff return (105 yards) and still ranks in USC’s top 25 for rushing yards (1,898) and punt and kickoff returns.
