Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update: October 28, 2020 | FDA – warning letters on unapproved products for humans

  • The FDA issued warning letters to Everything Aquatic and Mr Frags, LLC, which distribute chloroquine phosphate products intended to treat disease in aquarium fish. Chloroquine phosphate has not been approved, conditionally approved, or indexed to treat disease in aquarium fish. Although the chloroquine phosphate products identified in these warning letters did not make claims about use in people, the agency is concerned that consumers may mistake unapproved chloroquine phosphate animal drugs for the human drug chloroquine phosphate. People should not take any form of chloroquine unless it has been prescribed by a licensed health care provider.
  • The FDA issued three warning letters jointly with the Federal Trade Commission to Peterson Research Laboratories dba CovercologyPredator Nutrition, and Beepothecary for selling unapproved and misbranded products with fraudulent COVID-19 claims.

Last year, I worked as a College Lead; Volunteer basically for an organization called “Teach For Nepal”. I am not here to live, I am here to change

The Most High doesn’t send me to the Earth,
Just to eat and to drink but for my purpose –
I feel my purpose, to witness how the Earth
Lives to her standards and her expectant.

If you ask me who is the Most High, well,
I don’t know why I said the Most High but,
I know that there is the Spirit World where
No darkness nor sin lives in it.

So I feel that I came to witness the Earth,
How she influence with her natural power,
And my purpose is to remind our humankind,
That the Earth will love for us if we help and heal.

Some people understand their purposes while
Other people don’t understand why they are here,
How I feel that someone among humankind,
Should lead the Earth to fulfill purposes for the heaven.

Do we need another lockdown? – The poor side of life – (UK)

This morning I was reading the covid related comments on local newspaper Facebook posts. The reality of this situation is out there in black and white for everyone to see. So many people just don’t believe that it exists and the hatred towards covid sufferers like myself is unprecedented. No one appears to be monitoring these comments ether so they continue to spread their vile opinions out there. Meanwhile the government are now starting to talk about another lockdown. Instead of just talking about it they need to do it, but they need to adequately support struggling families, small businesses and self employed and employed people. Adequate support wasn’t given last time and it needs to be so much better than their ‘efforts’ during the last lockdown. I’m not blaming the schools though, I’m blaming the government. They were warned about this virus, how dangerous it is and given advice on how to deal with it, and how to look after the public. Johnson didn’t and doesn’t care though. He gave crucial contracts for PPE etc to his friends and they’ve become richer as a result at the cost of other peoples suffering. This needs to be stopped, he needs to be stopped. He just doesn’t c

Equine Assisted Therapy: Can a Horse be your New Therapist? — Egyptian Streets

Horses at The Behman Hospital. Photo courtesy of Joanna Gray. Most people are used to the typical scene of a therapist’s office with a client sitting on a comfortable lounge chair as they talk through their problems, but when you think of therapy, do you ever imagine a horse? La Cegadora Hechicería del Oro

As Yanomami spokesperson Davi Kopenawa states in his book “Falling from the Sky”: “For the oldest old, gold was just shiny chips in the sand of river beds, like mica. They collected it to make a witchcraft substance designed to blind people they were angry with. … This metal powder was feared. That is why we call the shining metal fragments that prospectors excavate from river beds oru hipëre a: the dazzling witchcraft of gold. When white people take minerals from the ground, they grind them with their machines and heat them in their factories… Gold and other minerals are dangerous and bad things that only bring disease and death. … Although this metal is the most beautiful and strong that you can find to build your machines and your merchandise, it is dangerous for humans. When digging so far underground, whites don’t think about such things. If they did, they wouldn’t break everything they could on the ground indefinitely. I want to make you listen to the words that the xapiri gave me at the moment of the dream, so that these thoughtless strangers can understand what is really happening.

Wedding and Birthday Party Infect 56, Leaving Nearly 300 in Quarantine – The New York Times

Long Island health officials scrambled to contain a coronavirus outbreak in Suffolk County when dozens of people tested positive for the virus after attending a high-end Sweet 16 party in September that violated state restrictions on gatherings. On Wednesday, county officials said they were coping with the fallout from two more so-called superspreader events that left 56 people with the virus and nearly 300 in quarantine: a wedding that exceeded the state’s 50-person limit and a birthday party that did not. “This kind of blatant disregard for the well-being of others is not only extremely disappointing; it will not be tolerated,” Steven Bellone, the Suffolk County executive, said at a news conference, referring specifically to the wedding. “If you violate the rules, you’ll be caught and held responsible.”

Too hard to vote? Fired-up Black voters are doing it anyway | Reuters

“Based on what I’ve seen, it pisses Black voters off,” said Linda Lewis, director of political engagement for the local chapter of the NAACP, the country’s largest civil rights organization. At that former campus in the East Waco neighborhood, 7,571 people had cast ballots in the first two weeks of early voting – more than the 5,155 who showed up in all of 2016, voting records show.
