Coronavirus: DeWine shares concerns after nearly 1,500 new cases reported in Ohio

Gov. Mike DeWine called the daily case number “alarming” after nearly 1,500 cases of coronavirus were reported in Ohio Friday.

It’s the highest number of daily cases reported since the end of July when the state saw 1,733 cases reported in a day. On Sept. 1, there were 1,453 daily cases reported.
