Corporate Farming Is Killing Us Today – LA Progressive

We get richer, we have better health care, and the rate of diabetes in adults has gone from half of one percent to almost 10% . . . that’s not natural, in fact, it is specifically unnatural. It is a direct product of bad food, and way too much of it!

Asia had almost no diabetes and no heart disease until the last 30 years when we exported Kentucky Fried Chicken, Pizza Hut, and McDonalds to Asia. The British tried to kill them with opium, then it looked like we would kill them with Philip Morris tobacco products, but it looks like the real villains are Col. Sanders and Ronald McDonald.

Why COVID-19 Cases in Europe Are Surging Back to March Levels (they thought they could go on vacation as in past-wrong!)

With new COVID-19 cases ebbing, many European nations started reopening their borders in mid-June. Travelers began to fly south for vacation like they would on any nonpandemic-ravaged year.

But outbreaks bloomed in summer holiday destinations, such as the French Riviera, Greece, and Croatia.

And then those travelers flew back to their home countries, where the outbreaks had been relatively contained.

A 26-year-old American woman ignored quarantine instructions to go on a bar crawl in Germany, and caused a COVID-19 outbreak at the hotel she works in, officials say

  • An American woman has been accused of causing a COVID-19 outbreak in a German town after going on a bar crawl while showing symptoms, according to multiple outlets.
  • The unnamed 26-year-old, who works at a hotel for US armed forces and their families in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Bavaria, was tested on September 8 and told to quarantine until the results were ready, reports said.
  • However, she went out to a series of bars, including a karaoke bar, local media reported. Her test came back positive the next morning.
  • Since last Monday, at least 24 people at the hotel have tested positive for COVID-19, according to Der Spiegel, with a total 49 new infections in the town.
  • Markus Söder, the prime minister of the Bavaria region, said there would be “consequences.” German lawyers told The Guardian that the woman could also face criminal proceedings.

Gov’t evaluating possibility of closing schools tomorrow – The Jerusalem Post

“The government made the wrong decision, against professional recommendations,” Gamzu said in the letter. “Moreover, we are seeing a spike in infection in general and specifically among the general public.”

According to the commissioner, the spike is particularly centered on school-aged children, especially those 10 and up.

“I request that you accept the professional recommendation and do not allow schools to open tomorrow, with all the complications that entails,” he continued. He said that if need be, only grade five and up could shutter early.

“Behind this recommendation stand all relevant professionals,” he concluded.

Gamzu’s letter came as nearly 5,000 people were diagnosed with the novel coronavirus in the last 24 hours, the Health Ministry reported on Tuesday. Source: Gov’t evaluating possibility of closing schools tomorrow – The Jerusalem Post
