Our new survey of multiracial Americans finds that, for two-thirds of Hispanics, their Hispanic background is a part of their racial background – not something separate.

    1. I am not sure that this type of research does much good.
      Show me that is does….are you telling me that ‘the poor people’ read this research? Are you telling me that it will change anything even if they did. How so? Does this mean that people of what ever denomination will feel listened to? For awhile maybe.. Do you think this will lead to change from the hierarchy?
      Money better spent on other things.
      I confess I am highly suspicious of ‘academia’
      Met some very odd academics……lived in their heads…forgot they had feet…..

    2. I agree that most who were surveyed may not read. It confirms, what I have observed and shows me that Latinos and Black Americans are not looking at each other so much as rivals any longer. As they find common interest, the ground will move!
