White nationalists attending the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) are planning to gather discretely this evening at a steak house in the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center near Washington, DC, which is playing host to the conference. The gathering is sponsored by the National Policy Institute (NPI), a white nationalist “think tank” whose mission is to “elevate the consciousness of whites, ensure our biological and cultural continuity, and protect our civil rights.” The institute studies the so-called “consequences of the ongoing influx that non-Western populations pose to our national identity.”
NPI’s Richard Spencer privately announced the gathering and guest of honor, Jared Taylor, editor of the white nationalist magazine American Renaissance. Taylor argued in those pages that “Blacks and whites are different. When blacks are left entirely to their own devices, Western civilization — any kind of civilization — disappears.” T

Apparently, the photograph was taken for publicity for Pink Pony music. The photograph has since been removed.

What makes this particularly frustrating is that the bill received more votes for it (55) than against it (45). But it fell five votes shy of the 60 votes needed to override a fillibuster. And so, on March 6, 2014, the a bill that would have dared to challenge the status quo and actually advocate for survivors of sexual assault, was shut down by a procedural vote that stopped it from even moving to the senate floor.

That’s led to the hasty organization of night patrols and watch posts of unarmed men looking to prevent escalation or inter-ethnic conflict. After sunset, groups of men stand at crossroads and community halls, peering uneasily into the darkness.
At one such post, a dozen men are smoking furtively and chewing sunflower seeds. They aren’t stopping cars, rather noting the comings and goings of unfamiliar vehicles and keeping in touch with each other by phone and text message.
“We have no authority to check documents, we can only call each other from the posts or call the head office to follow unknown vehicles or we can call the police,” said Zamir Khaybulaev, 60, head of the local Mejlis.
The Tartars only returned to Crimea from the 1970’s onwards
At a second post, volunteer Ernest Bekirov is philosophical. He says Crimea’s Tatars have weathered many hardships and said he hoped this crisis would pass soon.
A wish for peace
“We just want peace, happiness and to provide for our children and have a comfortable life in our native land,” the soft-spoken 48 year old said. “We don’t want a war – all this is coming from higher authorities.”
Vaccine-resistant mutation of H5N1 bird flu virus strain has been confirmed in the Mekong Delta province of Tra Vinh while vaccinated fowls fell sick in central Vietnam.
Ngo Duc Thanh, director of Tra Vinh animal health department, said the kinds of vaccine that have been used for many years showed weaker effects this year.
Thanh said most samples from sick poultry would be tested for a new mutation.
He asked farmers to inject their livestock with a new kind of vaccine that is also available.
Animal health officials from the central province of Quang Nam last week noticed that a local herd of 1,000 ducks have fallen sick and five of six samples tested positive for H5N1 although they were vaccinated a month earlier.
Vaccinated poultry from the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho were also infected earlier despite vaccination. Officials said the vaccine could have been ineffective to a virus mutation, or the vaccination process faulty.
The health and agriculture ministries on March 5 said there were 69 H5N1 bird flu outbreaks ravaging in 23 cities and provinces. An average of two new outbreaks have occurred every day since early February, killing more than 63,000 fowls.

The US Army’s top prosecutor overseeing sexual assault cases has been suspended over allegations he groped a female lawyer working for him and tried to kiss her, officers said Thursday.
The suspension of Lieutenant Colonel Joseph Morse marks the latest embarrassing setback for the US military as it battles a sexual assault crisis that has sparked calls for a radical overhaul of its judicial system.
The allegations were first reported by the Stars and Stripes newspaper and confirmed to AFP by military officers who spoke on condition of anonymity.
No charges have been filed against Morse, who supervises the army’s special victim prosecutors that handle sexual assault, domestic abuse and crimes against children cases.
The female army lawyer has alleged Morse groped her and attempted to kiss her against her will.
The alleged incident took place in 2011 in a hotel room at a sexual assault legal conference in Alexandria, Virginia, officials said, before Morse was named to his current job.

Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan has threatened to ban Facebook and YouTube in Turkey in an attempt to stop political foes anonymously posting audio recordings purportedly exposing corruption and other malpractices in his inner circle.
In the latest recording, released on YouTube late Thursday, Erdogan is purportedly heard berating a newspaper owner over the telephone about an article and suggesting the journalists be sacked, in comments that will further stoke concerns over media freedom and Erdogan’s authoritarian style of leadership.
